ARTIST IN SCHOOLS PROGRAM

“Art requires us to empower ourselves with choice.”

Artist in Schools

Creative Spirit Center instructors will customize an arts experience to meet the needs of any public or private school classroom. With creativity as the basis of the program, each student is encouraged to be involved at their own developmental level and to grow through experience of many learning styles. Natural curiosity and problem-solving are encouraged as participants learn to make choices that enhance their communication of ideas through the arts. The goal is to build each individual’s expressive arts skills, self-confidence and creativity. Classes are designed to enhance the teacher’s existing curriculum and to meet Michigan standards and benchmarks.
